Duplin_HighwayMap2Duplin County Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) 2007

The Duplin County CTP was developed as a joint effort between Duplin County, Eastern Carolina Rural Planning Organization, and NCDOT. The plan is the first mutually adopted transportation plan for Duplin County. The CTP was adopted by the Duplin Board of Commissioners on March 5, 2007 and endorsed by the Eastern Carolina RPO on March 15, 2007. The North Carolina Board of Transportation adopted the Duplin County CTP on May 3, 2007. The CTP includes a highway element along with a rail & transit element.

Person Co Presentation 11_9_09Beulaville Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) 2010

In January of 2009, the NCDOT – Transportation Planning Branch began a Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) study for the Town of Beulaville. This study is intended to produce a long range planning document that will assist local governments and its representatives in making transportation decisions in the next 25-30 years. The plan is a joint effort between the Town of Beulaville, Eastern Carolina RPO, and the NCDOT. The Beulaville CTP was adopted by the Town Council on June 28, 2010 and by the Duplin Board of Commissioners on July 6, 2010. The Eastern Carolina RPO endorsed the CTP on July 15, 2010 and the NC Board of Transportation adopted the CTP on August 5, 2010. The CTP includes various highway recommendations such as a northern NC 24 bypass along with various pedestrian and bicycle improvements.

Warsaw Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) 2012Highway Map

The Warsaw Comprehensive Transportation Plan was developed as a joint effort between the Town of Warsaw, Eastern Carolina RPO, and NCDOT. The goal of the study is to produce a long range transportation plan for Warsaw, and assisting local governments and the public with transportation decisions over the next 25 to 30 years. The CTP involves analysis and recommendations for highway projects as well as rail, bicycle, pedestrian, and public transit improvements. The CTP was adopted by the Town of Warsaw on June 11, 2012 and by the Duplin County Board of Commissioners on June 18, 2012. The Eastern Carolina RPO endorsed the CTP on September 20, 2012 and the NC Board of Transportation adopted the CTP on October 4, 2012.
