The Eastern Carolina Council (ECC) is a multi-county, local government, planning and development organization.  We are one of sixteen councils of government in NC, where local officials determine regional priorities and work collaboratively for the benefit of all communities.   ECC also serves as a conduit between 71 municipal and county governments in our region’s nine counties (Carteret, Craven, Duplin, Greene, Jones, Lenoir, Onslow, Pamlico, and Wayne) and state/federal partners. Additionally, ECC supports these local governments through regional initiatives, projects, resources, and technical assistance.
