Beulaville Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) 2010
In January of 2009, the NCDOT - Transportation Planning Branch began a Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) study for the Town of Beulaville. This study is intended to produce a long range planning document that will assist local governments and its representatives in making transportation decisions in the next 25-30 years. The plan is a joint effort between the Town of Beulaville, Eastern Carolina RPO, and the NCDOT. The Beulaville CTP was adopted by the Town Council on June 28, 2010 and by the Duplin Board of Commissioners on July 6, 2010. The Eastern Carolina RPO endorsed the CTP on July 15, 2010 and the NC Board of Transportation adopted the CTP on August 5, 2010. The CTP includes various highway recommendations such as a northern NC 24 bypass along with various pedestrian and bicycle improvements.
