Leighann Morgan is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with the concentration in Management. Leighann came on board at ECC as the Administrative Assistant in May, 2015. Now serving as the Deputy Finance Officer and manages all administrative responsibilities and transportation staff at Eastern Carolina Council. In addition the administrative role, Leighann helps in overseeing the administration of EDA (Economic Development Administration) grants to fulfill regional economic development strategies. Leighann is driven by her core value of providing assistance to small towns and rural communities, and is frequently overheard saying, “How can I help?” Her positive, can-do attitude rewards her with an excellent repertoire with ECC’s client communities, and is a critical asset to the team.
